The Treetop Haus started with a conversation about Scandinavian style in the Pacific Northwest. These clients wanted a paired back but warm layered house, where it’s classic and comfortable but gutsy in just the right places. We created a design scheme that is high in contrast and low on fussiness. We interrupted the ongoing black and white with colors like deep blue and warm woods; we suggested big moves for lighting and architecture and the Clients loved each idea. The home is straightforward luxe – she sits atop the trees and wants for nothing.
